Xico Clean 0.8.0 is out. This release is about letting you see more clearly before you clean.
Smart Scan
Results and selection in Smart Scan have been reorganised. Before cleaning, you can check each item that's about to be removed, and only go ahead once you're happy.
New
- Themes. Pick a colour scheme you like.
- Licence and trial. Your licence and trial status now sit at the top, and new users can try every feature free for 15 days.
- Buy and activate in the app. Get a licence and activate it without leaving Xico Clean.
- Menu bar monitoring. More detail than before.
Safer updates
This release adds in-app updates. Each new version is checked for a valid signature and Apple notarisation after it downloads, and is only installed if it passes.
Requirements
0.8.0 is a Universal app that runs natively on Apple silicon and Intel Macs, and requires macOS 26.5 or later. Download it at mac.xicoai.com.
